The AC Cobra is probably THE definitive muscle car. It's stocky, bulging bodywork gives the impression of a violent and brutal streetfighter whilst it's acceleration and handling combine to make the driving experience every bit as visceral and aggressive as the styling. In this drawing I have attempted to convey the squat, solid power that absolutely defines the character of this car. The potential of this car can be demonstrated by the fact that in the 1960's the Cobra contributed to the introduction of the national speed limit as versions ran at up to 186mph on British motorways!
